When do we meet and where?

RCORE meets twice a year for General Membership Meetings, per the bylaws these meetings are the second Thursday in March and the Second Thursday in October at a location that works for the anticipated size.  Information can be found on the Calendar page at RCORE Event Calendar.

When do I send my RCORE dues to remain in good standing?

Annual dues shall be twenty ($20.00) dollars per member or per family, payable in advance on or before October 1 of each year. Members shall be notified by email thirty (30) days before payment is due. Members whose dues are not paid within thirty (30) days shall, at a minimum, have access to membership areas of the website restricted. The annual dues amount may be adjusted as deemed appropriate by consensus of RCORE members.  An RCORE application can be found at RCORE Application

What is the tax status of the RCORE organization?

RCORE corporation is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation organized under the California Nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation Law. The purpose of this corporation is to engage in any lawful act or activity, other than credit union business, for which a corporation may be organized under such law.

The specific and primary purpose of this corporation is to engage in labor organization activities, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding provisions of any future United States internal revenue law (the “Code”), that promote and protect the welfare and interests of individuals who receive or expect to receive retirement benefits from the City of Roseville, located in Placer County, California.
